TAKING FLIGHT: BAD AUTOPSY

The Score:

A mysterious East London producer with support from Oneman and Deadboy who goes under the moniker Bad Autopsy. In his/her own words “I spend most evenings in a poor lit room, on a crap computer, making music which some might describe as having a 2-step rhythm.”

We Say:

It’s hard to pin down what we like most. The haunting chopped up vocals? The 2-Step swing? The image I conjure up of who may be on buttons when I listen to Psionic Terror? Or the odd R ‘n’ B samples? What is most impressive is the potential; last year it was Orbison and Deadboy, how long before everyone is clambering to book Bad Autopsy. With releases on Ramp and Well Rounded on the horizon it’s only a matter of time before everyone’s trying to unmask the mysterious producer.

Bad Autopsy:

“Most of my tracks have a slight garage sounding swing to the beat and there’s definitely an RnB element in there too. I like my tracks to sound a little rough like they’ve been made on a tapedeck with lots of background noise.”

The Date:

Live dates at the end of the year.

The Release:

A forthcoming release on Ramp before November and another release on Well Rounded also on the horizon. You can hear all the tunes on Bad Autopsy’s soundcloud (which are yet to be mastered) as well as tracks with fellow producer Gongon.
